Terms and Conditions
Order Approval
You must approve your order before it goes to production. This approval will be for the artwork, garment styles, sizes, quantities, and any other aspects listed on the invoice. We will provide a digital mockup of how we expect the final product to look. We will not be responsible for errors, misspelling, or otherwise in approved digital mockups and artwork. Please review your order carefully! Our production team will print or embroider exactly as stated on the order.
5% Extra
Mistakes happen! Perhaps a wrong size is ordered, someone on the team gets forgotten, or more people end up wanting a t-shirt than expected. Regardless of the reason, we are often asked to print one or two more shirts after an order is complete. The time and cost to set-up a print project is the same if we’re making 1 or 1000 shirts. That said, the cost will be significantly higher for you to get one or two more pieces after the fact.
Turnaround Time
Our standard turnaround time is two weeks, however this will vary depending on our production schedule. Please ask your Customer Service Representative for the most accurate turnaround time expectations for your specific order.
Your turnaround time will start after payment has been received. Please allow enough time when ordering to meet your specific deadlines. For example, if you are ordering shirts for a soccer tournament that is on the 20th, do not wait until the 15th to submit your payment. This would not give us enough time to order the blank apparel from the manufacturer and prep for printing.
Payment Terms
Payment is due in full prior to an order being placed in the print queue. This will allow us to use the funds from your payment to order all the blank apparel and perform all pre-production tasks.
Artwork Creation & Ownership
All artwork created by Fabricated Customs is the sole property of Fabricated Customs. If you have us create artwork for you, you are strictly receiving the labor and thought process to produce the artwork. You are not receiving the ownership and rights of the artwork. Rights to the artwork can be purchased for an additional amount. Any artwork you submit to us for printing that is not being created by Fabricated Customs is owned by you or its rightful owner, not Fabricated Customs. We will not reproduce your artwork, trademarked or not, without you or the rightful owner’s consent.
Printing Variations
We will do our absolute best to recreate our digital mockup the best we can. This includes design size, colors, etc. However, printing is an art form and there can be unexpected variations. For example, printing a white ink on a green shirt may look slightly different than
White ink printed on a black shirt. If you need a specific color printed, we recommend providing a Pantone color for us to create a best match for. If reordering a garment, you may notice slight variations in ink color. This is because we mix all inks by hand. These variations are normal and considered acceptable.
Blank Garment Inventory
Fabricated Customs does not manufacture our own blank garments. We purchase all blank garments from trusted suppliers and manufacturers. We do our best to research and provide the most informed stock levels prior to creating an order for approval. However, at times garments may become unavailable between the time we create the order and the time we order the blank garments for printing. In this event, we will present to you a potential alternate styles/colors.
Manufacturer Defects
Fabricated Customs is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as garment color inconsistencies, mislabeled sizes, loose stitching, label inconsistencies, or other garment defects. We inspect the apparel prior to printing, but cannot guarantee each garment. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size to avoid the possibility of the aforementioned issues.
Garment Subjectivity
Fabricated Customs will not be responsible for you not liking the garment printed on or the printed artwork. We do our very best to make sure you have selected a garment that you will expect and matches your needs. If size specs are not listed on our site, we recommend you confirm and verify them with us or on the manufacturer’s website. You can also purchase a blank unprinted sample. This garment will not be printed with your design. It is purely for you to see the blank garment before printing. Blank samples are not refundable or transferable towards a full production run. Ordering a sample may also delay the turnaround time.
Print Size
We will use our standard print size for all garments unless specifically requested otherwise. All garments within an order will receive the same dimension print size. For example, a small and XXL will both receive the same size graphic printed on them. In some cases, we may offer a smaller print size for youth sizes and a larger size print for adult sizes. However, this is not guaranteed and we will do what we feel is best in that specific situation.
- Adult Front/Back: 11” x 11”
- Youth Front/Back: 8” x 8”
- Sleeve: 3” wide
- Badge: 3” wide
Print Fading and Weathering
All printed garments will eventually fade and weather. This process can be expedited by excessive washing, washing and drying temperatures, soaps, detergents, chemicals, etc. Therefore, once a garment is printed and leaves our facility, we are no longer in control of the elements a print will endure and cannot guarantee the amount of fading or weathering.
Care Instructions
To best preserve your shirt from unwanted fading and wear, we recommend washing on cold and tumble dry on low heat. All t-shirts should also be turned inside out to better preserve the print.
Print Placement
We will do our best to print each graphic in the same location on every garment. However, printing is an art form and a lot of what we do is by hand. Therefore, you may notice small inconsistencies on placement. These are considered normal and acceptable.
Printing Lewd or Inappropriate Designs
At times, customers have asked us to print graphics that others may deem as inappropriate, sexual, violent, discriminatory, etc. We employ minors at our facility and frequently have families and children who come to visit. Therefore, we may politely decline doing a print if we feel it is too inappropriate for those individuals. Have questions? Just ask your Customer Service Representative and we can help.
Printing on Provided Garments
We are able to print on garments that you provide, but keep in mind that mistakes do happen and some of your garments may be damaged in the printing process. In these situations, we will not charge you for any misprints. However, we will not replace or take any financial responsibility for the damaged garment. For example, let’s assume that you provide twenty shirts that you would like printed. One of those garments ends up being damaged during printing. You will not be charged for the print for that garment and we will not bare any responsibility for replacing or compensating you for it.
Social Sharing
We love showing off our products! We do this by taking photos and posting them online via social media platforms. Please be sure to notify your Customer Service Representative when placing your order if you are not comfortable with us photographing and sharing your apparel socially. If you don’t notify us, we will assume that we have your full permission to post photos of your garments online.
Printed Proofs
At times, customers have asked to provide a photo of the first printed shirt to act as a proof. Please let your Customer Service Representative know at the time of placing an order that you are requesting this service. Please also ask your Customer Service Representative on an approximate production date so that you are aware of when we will be reaching out to you. We are happy to accommodate this request and do not charge for it. We do ask that you respond within 15 minutes from when the proof has been sent. Not doing so will hold up the print schedule for you and other customers. If we do not hear from you during that time period we will assume that you are happy with the print and would not like any changes made.
ShippingWe ship via UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Fabricated Customs will not be responsible for any shipping transit complications for any reason such as errors, weather, strikes, or otherwise. Shipping time is not included in our turnaround times. Shipping expenses are the sole responsibility of the client and will be added to your invoice unless otherwise agreed upon prior to your order. Fabricated Customs assumes no responsibility for goods once they have left our facility. We will not be responsible for shipping to a wrong address if it was listed on your quote and you failed to correct the address upon quote approval. You are always welcome to pickup your order from our shop at no additional charge.
